Angelo Arecchi is the principal engineer at Sunrise Instruments. He has an MS degree in optical engineering from the University of Rochester. His work experience includes several years as an optical systems engineer at SphereOptics, LLC and fourteen years as VP for Engineering at Labsphere, Inc., directing a team that designed and produced specialized light sources and light measurement equipment. He has worked, published, and lectured extensively in the field of radiometry, the measurement and specification of light. Angelo is a registered professional engineer and is a member of the Optical Society of America, SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering, and CORM - the Council for Optical Radiation Measurements, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
