Sunrise Instruments will provide a half-day introduction to measuring light for one to fifteen people, at your location. This training will give you a quick foundation in basic light measurement terminology and techniques. At the end of this training you should be able to:

o understand units of light measurement
o convert between different radiometric units
o choose appropriate light measurement equipment
o walk safely through the minefield of LED descriptions
o select the appropriate light source for a particular purpose
o specify light sources in conventional, understandable terms
o understand the basics of the radiometry of materials, including describing surface color
